Exercise 1

Three of my favorite graphic design work:

Design #1
Figure 1 Source: Pinterest

Description: At first, the flower was the one that caught my eye. This Flower reminds me of a quote I had read - A soft heart in a cruel world is courage, not weakness. The flower seems to represent a human heart. A heart that is brave and strong but lonely and fragile. The surroundings color of this design is dim and dull meanwhile also mix it with a flower in bright color. This design expresses a circumstance which is that even though it's dark around, yet I have a passionate heart to move ahead. Besides, the mild color matching makes me comfortable and impressed.

Design #2
Figure 2 Source: Pinterest

Description: This poster designed by Aqsa, is a woman with one body but with three different facial expressions. The way she presents the facial expressions is quirky but adorable. The poster used high saturation colors (red and green) for recognition, it creates a visual effect plus the illustration brings out the characteristics vividly. The fonts for this poster are attractive and creative. Apple and cherry as the element of the poster brings a fresh as well as lively ambience. Also, there's a retro picture quality for this poster which creates a Japanese '90s' magazine vibe.

Design #3
Figure 3 Source: Pinterest

Description: A croissant designed as ceramic form is very lifelike. The main colors are light blue and light beige which are both calm colors. I like the color palette the way it is represented. I think this is quite a simple design but it's unique. It gives a sense of serenity and peaceful clarity.
